Discover the Detail
At Heritage Interiors, our Clients’ dreams are our inspiration. We strive to come alongside our Clients’ vision to identify direct requests, but also discover the intangibles, those subtle details that make your house a home.
Our goal is to provide you with a home atmosphere that exudes your personality, while enjoying the process of creating something new. We ask detailed questions to understand your family and your lifestyle. Then we bring the vision to life, not only with cohesive materials you can touch, but also through our array of medias including CAD drawings and 3D modeling, so you can explore your home and visualize the end result.
We approach every project with innovative ideas, products and textures. Heritage Interiors takes a hands-on, personal approach to ensure every detail is well thought out and executed properly.

SHAVAWN EVERITT
As a native Texan growing up on a farm in the Hill Country, Shavawn enjoyed the experience with her father building farm and ranch houses. Following her love for residential construction, Shavawn attended Texas State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture and Art History. She had the opportunity to study abroad at the Fuji Studio in Florence, Italy, which has influenced her experience as a designer today.
After graduation in 2007, Shavawn worked for Architect and Interior Designer Laura Britt in Austin, Texas where she dove into the Interior Design world. After Shavawn and her husband Matt married, they moved to the DFW area, where she started working as a draftsman for an Architecture firm. Moving forward, Shavawn decided she didn’t want to sit at a desk; she wanted to engage with Clients and create through the artistic medium of Interior Architecture.
Shavawn is a Registered Interior Designer, NCIDQ certified, as well as a professional member of ASID, serving as Chair of Fort Worth in 2016. She draws inspiration from listening to her Clients, seeking creative ideas from their lifestyle and the challenge of “puzzling” houses together. Her favorite part of Interior Design is working with Clients to bring their vision together and showcasing their unique style.

LINDSAY FOX
Born and raised in Texas, Lindsay attended college at The University of Texas at Arlington, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. While in school, she developed a passion for interior architecture. Lindsay focuses on the way our environment alters the way we feel, and designs to create lifelong memories for families.
Lindsay has worked with Heritage Design Studio since 2010, and has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of architectural styles while helping Clients design their dream home. In 2017, Lindsay transitioned to working full time with Heritage Interiors as a Junior Designer. Her experience with 3D modeling and creating floor plans has given her the unique knowledge of the design field and a thorough understanding of cohesive design.
When she’s not at the office, Lindsay enjoys the outdoors, crafting, baking, and watching movies. But more than anything, her passion is spending quality time with her husband Steven, two adorable children and their dog!

MARLENE SMALL
Clients have repeatedly invited Marlene to bring their vision into reality since 1997. She has been an Allied Member of ASID since 1998, and is registered as a Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP). She serves on the Leadership Team for the Fort Worth Design Community of ASID and is a member of the Fort Worth Interior Design Group, an invitation-only membership, offered to just 14 designers in the area.
Inspiration for Marlene often comes from these collaborative groups, as they inspire each other with fresh ideas, and brings contact with Vendors and Interior Service providers across the country.
Marlene’s love of color, texture and pattern began in clothing design as a young girl. Her mother encouraged her in her passion for clothing design through her college years. Attention to detail and building relationships with Clients, Contractors and Vendors have helped shape her business today. She has been working on new construction projects since 2001, primarily focusing on 6,000 + square foot homes. Outside of her Interior Design career, Marlene enjoys her roles as wife to Sammy Small, mother to three adult children, and “Punker” to their five grands! She is also involved with Alpha Chi Omega, mentoring to collegiate women and with the Genesis Women’s Alliance.
