    About Passion and Dedication

    Our Philosophy

There are many factors that need to be considered when pursuing excellent design. We always try to approach our designs from a standpoint that, in reality, we are creating a “one of a kind” work of art for our clients. We put great amounts of thought and care into every detail, from the way the house sits on the site, to the use of materials which complement the design, to the consistent architectural components placed both inside and outside.

Another important aspect is to create structures that will have a timeless quality to them. In order to achieve this, we endeavor to base our design on historical archetypes, or styles. We do our best to avoid fads and trends, knowing that what is “in” today will most likely be “out” tomorrow. However, by studying and accurately basing our work on homes that have stood for decades, or even centuries, we know that our homes will also age with grace.

All this must of course be balanced with the practicality of the structure in terms of it specific use. As the saying goes, “form follows function”. Our designs must always represent the specific needs and desires of the individuals who will be living there, and we go spend an extensive amount of time with our clients to ensure that their house is truly custom.

At Heritage Interiors, our Clients’ dreams are our inspiration. We strive to come alongside our Clients’ vision to identify direct requests, but also discover the intangibles, those subtle details that make your house a home. Our goal is to provide you with a home atmosphere that exudes your personality, while enjoying the process of creating something new. We ask detailed questions to understand your family and your lifestyle. Then we bring the vision to life, not only with cohesive materials you can touch, but also through our array of medias including CAD drawings and 3D modeling, so you can explore your home and visualize the end result. We approach every project with innovative ideas, products and textures. Heritage Interiors takes a hands-on, personal approach to ensure every detail is well thought out and executed properly.

    • Should we require home design services again in the future, we would not hesitate to engage Heritage/Chris and would recommend them to anyone looking to embark on the nebulous journey of home design. The integrity of Heritage ownership is evident in the professional manner in which they have deal with our family. They are extremely trustworthy, reliable and consistent. Simply put, architectural design is in Chris' DNA and it is reflected in the beauty and creativity of the homes and floor plan designs. John & Adriana Hammer, Colleyville
    • My husband and I hired Heritage after meeting with several architect firms in the Dfw area. We were immediately impressed with Chris and his team. They listened to our wish list and didnt miss a thing. They gave such careful consideration to the way we live and how we wanted this home to function with our lifestlye. They were incredibly patient to our ever changing decisions, always open to ideas we brought to them, but mostly offered amazing ideas to us! While we have built many homes with builders, this is our first custom job we have ever taken on and we could not have gotten a better partner to do it with than Heritage. This home is a huge investment for us. Its our life long dream and we are grateful to Heritage for being so wonderful throughout the process. We wish Heritage much success and hope to get the opportunity to recommend them in the future!! Tracey Dean
    • I have recently completed the design process with Heritage and the process was great. I was excited to design my own house but also very nervous. They made it simple and fun. From the first day I walked into their office, I was amazed at the amount of research and preparation they had done. They asked great questions and gave fantastic options.

It was great to see the vision in my head come out on paper and then to get to see it in 3D was amazing. The ability to change and tweak anything you wanted and see the difference right there in 3D really helped. The office experience was great also. From cappuccinos and snacks, to fun and laughter, it was easy to get along with them.

I cannot wait to complete the building process and see what we created in person. I would highly recommend Heritage Design Studios to anyone that is looking to design their own house. Dane Watts

    • Heritage Design Studio made our home design experience seem effortless. Chris, Angela, Shawn and Andrew took the stress out of walking through the design process for us. They listened to the vision we had for our new house and what we specifically wanted and made it happen. This design team is highly organized and was always available to us when we had questions or needed some direction. We would absolutely recommend Heritage Design Studio! Greg & Krissa Parmley
    • Thank you so much. We very much enjoyed working with you on this project. We are ecstatic with the results - if you could not tell.

    • My road leading up to meeting Chris at Heritage Design Studio was a rough one. Suffice it to say, I had spent over a year's time and several thousands of dollars and still did not have a design that I could build.

Chris agreed to work with me on my severely wounded design. He was so nice and extremely knowledgeable! He not only knows what he's doing when it comes to drawing the design, he also has great ideas and an in depth wisdom regarding architectural types and history. He's very attentive to detail and, by the time he was done, there was a beautiful, BUILDABLE model of the home I envisioned! He has absolutely restored by faith in architects. Thank you so much, Dedie Sciarrino

With a desire to start in the Residential market, Chris began apprenticing in the Highland Park and University Park areas. He worked with noted architects J. Wilson Fuqua and Elby S. Martin.
